Why Aluminum Radiators?

Today’s aluminum radiators are much more efficient than the older copper and brass radiators of the past; simply by reason of their design.  A (2) row aluminum tube radiator is designed for more efficiency and does not require the space a (4) row copper radiator does.  A (2) row aluminum radiator of 1″ tube is 2.25″ thick and a (4) row of 1/2″ tube copper radiator is 2.625″ thick.  The (2) row aluminum radiator has more tube to fin contact than the (4) row copper radiator; therefore making it much more efficient than the copper.  Another disadvantage to a copper radiator is the copper tube and fin are bonded with solder which is an insulator; where as the aluminum tube and fin are brazed aluminum to aluminum.  So when you need a radiator that will keep your engine cool with limited space, you need our All Aluminum Radiator to perform and keep the engine cool in the least possible amount of space.  Here at Brice Thomas Radiator we offer many solutions to your over heating issues, with several tube profiles and fin designs we can build you a radiator that will meet your needs.  We also have a variety of fans and custom built shrouds to complete your radiator.  Call us today (800) 223-4299.
